internal use only. STR:1254_DET Yes, You are not alone with this issue because I have had the same problems this year. And I live in the southern part of Virginia. I sit on a concrete slab and water is all probably graded away from the house. The biggest problem area I had was coming from my porch that is covered. I ended up getting my porch leveled by JES foundation. I had a lot of water come out from underneath the house when they started ejecting the foam.

I think the main issue that I can think of is there is Styrofoam between the concrete slab and the exterior foundation. Beatles were digging holes in specific areas and these holes was where the condensation was coming from. Additionally this year for Virginia and North Carolina were very humid and I don't think these homes in this area are built for that. My outlets on all exterior walls were bowed inward.

= So I think is a combination of the builder and insulation. So far for a fix I have been spring the sill plate with polyurethane foam and filling in all gaps with the polyurethane foam. I think going through a lot of cans. When I pull my floor I will be repairing the concrete around the edges with a self-leveling concrete repair mix followed by a vapor barrier that gets up to the edge. I will be replacing my wooden baseboards with PVC baseboards. I don't know if that will fix it but I haven't found any solutions to this problem versus just tearing the house down and building something new.

The first light of dawn hints at a city stirring calmly. Each window reflects a fresh tale; perhaps a giggle, perhaps a silent morning routine. Coffee cups warm hands, their warmth gently seeping into the serene atmosphere. Sunbeams complexly bend as they pass by plants perched on sills, brushing over seemingly chaotic magazine piles. The world feels alive and unhurried, content in its slow progression.

Activity outside pulses with the rhythm of intent. Footsteps resonate, pairing with soft rustles of leaves swept into gutters. A neighbor, possibly with a paper folded at the corner, speculates on the day's unfolding. The ordinary holds a subtle gravitas: the tap of keys, the splash of sink water, a far-off bird song pausing intermittently with the spreading light.

It's captivating to ponder on these pauses—where time unfurls enough to observe a breath, or a sleeve's casual slump. The coolness of tiles meeting bare feet, a body's understated sigh when stepping out, or the unexpected shade beneath a tree during the wait for transportation or a friend.

As the sun dips later, its golden glow filters in stripes through blinds. Everything appears softer; shadows cast an almost cerulean hue. The abode stretches, seemingly resting into tranquility. Bounties of subtle kindness pepper the world—often unnoticed unless keenly perceived, easier to discern when focusing on something small and lingering there.

Evening blankets the day, its vibrant voices giving way to serene, steady undertones. One might curl up with a chilly drink reminiscing noonday memories, gazing at a star-lit canvas. A clock's gentle tick might offer solace, marking time tenderly. Reality narrows down to the self and night, postponing weightier matters indefinitely.

These tender pauses, delightful reminders, solicit minimal effort while urging pause. Within them, countless quiet joys emerge—moments marking time by calm rather than haste. Dwelling in these pauses, even momentarily, is intimate recognition of one's belonging in an expansive, gentle universe, under a sky that shifts perpetually yet consistently envelopes with its immensity.
