Walmart Points Expiring

I was thinking about what you mentioned regarding the community garden plots. I finally checked the soil composition and it is actually pretty balanced already. The tomatoes should do well with just a little side dressing of compost midseason. I found a really nice determinate variety at the nursery that stays compact but produces heavily all summer. Anyway let me know if you want to come by and see the progress this weekend. I also picked up a new hori hori knife that makes such a difference compared to my old trowel. The serrated edge cuts through roots cleanly and the measurement markings are surprisingly useful. I think you would really like it for your raised beds. Also I finally figured out the drip irrigation timer situation. It was just a simple programming error that I was overcomplicating. Now everything is on a consistent schedule and the seedlings look much happier. The early morning watering cycle has made a noticeable difference already and I am actually saving water compared to hand watering every evening.

The weather forecast looks ideal for the next week so I am planning to direct sow the beans and squash this weekend. I tried a new variety of bush beans that is supposed to be very productive in small spaces. If they work out I will save some seeds for you to try next season. Let me know if you want to swing by the hardware store together this Saturday morning. I need to pick up some more tomato cages and maybe a new soaker hose for the cucumber bed. The ones I have are starting to crack from sun exposure.

Hey thanks for the recommendation on that documentary series about coastal ecosystems. I started watching it last night and got through the first three episodes. The underwater cinematography is incredible and I love how they weave together the different storylines about marine conservation. The narrator has such a calming voice too which helps with the more intense subject matter about coral bleaching. I think you would really enjoy the fourth episode specifically because it touches on that topic we discussed at dinner last month about sustainable fishing practices. Let me know when you are free to watch more together this week. Also I finally tried that cafe you mentioned near the waterfront park. The cold brew was excellent and they have this outdoor seating area that is perfect for reading in the afternoon shade. I brought my book and ended up staying for almost two hours just enjoying the atmosphere and watching the boats go by. The barista recommended their avocado toast which I will have to try next time. The menu also has a really interesting looking matcha latte with oat milk that caught my eye. I think you would love the vibe there. It is very relaxed and the staff are incredibly friendly without being overbearing. They also have a small shelf of used books that customers can trade which is such a nice touch. I left a novel I had finished and picked up a travel memoir about hiking in Patagonia. The whole place just feels really thoughtfully put together and I can see why you spend so much time there. Let me know if you want to meet up there this weekend. I am free Saturday afternoon and would love to catch up properly.

I also wanted to ask about your guitar lessons. How is the new instructor working out? I remember you were a bit unsure after the first session but sometimes it takes a few meetings to find a good rhythm. If you want I can send you those tabs I found for the song we were both trying to learn. The arrangement I found is actually much simpler than the original but still sounds really full and melodic. I have been practicing it for about a week and I can almost play through the whole thing without mistakes now. The chord transitions are getting smoother every day.
