You asked about that pasta dish I mentioned at dinner last week. I finally found the recipe card buried in my drawer and made it again tonight. It's surprisingly simple, just a few ingredients but the trick is letting the garlic cook low and slow in olive oil before adding anything else. I used cherry tomatoes that I halved and let them soften in the pan for about ten minutes. Then toss in the cooked pasta with a splash of the pasta water. Fresh basil at the end makes all the difference. My family went back for seconds so I'm calling it a win. If you want I can send you the full ingredient list. It takes maybe twenty minutes total from start to finish.

I added a little lemon zest this time and it gave it a nice brightness. Also used whatever pasta shapes I had in the pantry which was rotini and it held the sauce really well. Let me know if you try it and what you think.
