I think the Ridgewood trail would be a better choice for Saturday. We tried=
the Meadow Creek path last month and it was still pretty muddy in sections=
. The Ridgewood loop is about three miles and has shaded rest areas every h=
alf mile. I can bring the trail map and we can decide when we get to the fo=
rk whether to take the upper or lower route. The parking lot fills up by ni=
ne so if we meet at seven thirty we should be fine. There is a coffee stand=
near the entrance that opens at six. Let me know if you want to carpool or=
meet there. I will bring snacks for the group. The weather forecast looks =
clear so we should have good views from the overlook. We can stop at the be=
nch near the old oak tree for a break before heading back down.

I would sort them by topic rather than by size or color. Grouping similar s=
ubjects together makes it easier to find things later. The cookbooks should=
go on the lower shelf since they are heavier. Paperbacks can stack two row=
s deep on the middle shelves if you put the ones you read most often in fro=
nt. Leave some space on the top shelf for taller items. Using small bookend=
s keeps the rows from toppling over. Pull out the books you have not opened=
in a year and set them aside for donation. That will free up about a third=
of the space. You might want to label the sections with small tags so ever=
yone knows where things go. I can help you sort through them on Tuesday if =
that works for your schedule.
