Hi, I wanted to follow up on your question about the trail conditions for n=
ext weekend. I checked the latest reports and most of the southern route is=
in decent shape, though there are a few muddy sections near the creek cros=
sing that could be tricky after recent rain. The northern loop has some ove=
rgrowth but should be passable with long pants and sturdy boots. I'd recomm=
end starting early to avoid the afternoon heat and bringing plenty of water=
since the streams are running low this time of year. The parking lot at th=
e trailhead tends to fill up by 8 so plan accordingly. I also heard the ran=
ger station might have updated maps if you want to stop by. Let me know if =
you want to adjust the meeting time or if you have another route in mind. I=
am flexible either way and happy to help with any planning details.
