Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend. It took wa=
y longer than I expected but honestly it feels so good to have everything i=
n its place. I found some old photo albums I thought I'd lost and spent an =
hour just flipping through them. My sister keeps telling me I should digiti=
ze them but I kind of like having the physical copies. The shelves I picked=
up from the hardware store worked perfectly and I still have enough room t=
o park the car which was the whole goal. Next up is the hall closet which m=
ight be an even bigger mess but at least I know what I'm doing now. Let me =
know if you want me to come over and help with yours =
tQl3LweD25kVv sometime. The bins I used were clear so I can actua=
lly see what is inside without pulling everything down. I labeled a few of =
them with a marker but I might go back and make nicer labels later. My neig=
hbor came by and asked if I was finally tackling the project and I said yes=
it only took me about two years to get motivated. He laughed and said he h=
as the same problem with his shed. Anyway I just wanted to share because I =
know you were thinking about doing the same thing. It really does make a di=
fference when you can actually walk through without stepping over boxes.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me and it turned out really well. I =
was a little skeptical about the sauce combination but it actually worked p=
erfectly together. The kids ate everything which is always a good sign arou=
nd here. I added a bit more garlic than it called for because you know me I=
can never resist. Next time I think I'll try it with the fresh basil from =
the garden instead of dried. The whole thing came together in about 30 minu=
tes which is great for a weeknight dinner. Let me know if you have any othe=
r recipes you've been liking lately I'm always looking for new ideas to mix=
things up. I also made a side of roasted vegetables with it and they compl=
emented the dish really nicely. We had leftovers the next day and they were=
just as good if not better. I think the flavors had more time to meld toge=
ther in the fridge. I am thinking about trying a lemon version next time wi=
th some capers and maybe a little white wine. If you have a go-to weeknight=
meal that is simple but feels a little special I would love to hear about =
it. I feel like I get stuck in a rut making the same three dinners over and=
over so new suggestions are always welcome.
