Yeah, so I am actually trying to plan the backyard layout right now. We mea=
sured the space twice because the slope is kind of weird near the fence lin=
e. I spent an hour last night looking at different paver patterns and I fin=
ally settled on a herringbone setup that uses fewer cuts overall. The groun=
d there gets soggy after heavy rain so I will probably add a few inches of =
gravel first. My neighbor has a level I can borrow, which helps since mine =
keeps slipping. I still need to figure out how many bags of sand to get. Th=
e calculator said around thirty, but I always end up with extras and then I=
never have a place to store them. Maybe I will just buy in smaller batches=
and make two trips. The garden center starts getting busy around nine on w=
eekends, so I want to be there right when the gates open. Then I can take m=
y time and not feel rushed picking out edging stones. The old ones cracked =
over the winter from frost heave. We have not had that problem before, but =
last season was colder than usual. I also want to move the raised bed a few=
inches to the left so the ladder fits better when I clean the gutters. Sho=
uld be a pretty productive Saturday if the weather holds.

Thank you for being part of Lowe's for over seven years. We're glad you're =
here, and we look forward to helping with whatever project comes next.

Right, so the plan tomorrow is to mostly stay off the driveway because we a=
re re-sealing it. I bought one of those squeegee tools and a bucket of patc=
h filler, but I have never done a full coat before. The instructions say to=
clean the surface with a degreaser first, then let it dry completely befor=
e applying anything. That is fine, we can do that in the morning. I also ne=
ed to shake out the drop cloths because they have been sitting in the garag=
e since last fall and they are dusty. Not a huge deal. The real question is=
whether the weather will cooperate. If it rains even a little, the whole t=
hing is pushed to next weekend. The forecast shows a chance of scattered sh=
owers after noon, so timing matters. We will start early, maybe seven, and =
then it is done by lunch. I already moved the patio chairs to the side yard=
and folded the umbrella. The grill will stay under the cover until Monday.=
It is not much, just one of those small upkeep tasks that makes a big diff=
erence before summer starts.
