Hey, I was just looking at those notes you sent over the weekend about the =
garden plan. I think the raised bed idea makes a lot of sense, especially i=
f we keep the corner plot for the herbs. The way the morning light hits tha=
t side of the yard is pretty consistent through the spring, so basil and ch=
ives would probably do really well there. I also saw the sketch for the lit=
tle stone path, and honestly it looks like it could be a nice weekend proje=
ct. We should probably map out the watering lines before we commit to the p=
avers, just so we don't end up digging twice. The neighbor mentioned they h=
ave a spare wheelbarrow we can borrow, which would save a trip to the hardw=
are store. I can stop by after work on Thursday if that works for you. The =
soil test results came back clean too, which was a relief. No need to overc=
orrect with any heavy amendments. Just a bit of compost and we should be se=
t. Let me know what you think about starting with the path first versus the=
beds. Oh, and I found a few old terracotta pots in the shed that we could =
use for the entryway plants. They've got some good patina on them already. =
We can rinse them out and see if they hold up. Talk soon.

I hear you about the thermostat schedule, and I think switching to the new =
settings has already made a difference in the upstairs hallway. The old pat=
tern was cycling too often in the afternoon, and now the room stays comfort=
able without the constant hum. I checked the filter last night and it still=
looks clean, so we can probably wait another month before changing it. The=
new timer on the porch light has been working well too. It clicks on just =
after sunset, which is exactly what we wanted for the longer evenings. I al=
so moved the small bench back under the side window, and I think that makes=
the entryway feel more open. If you want to borrow the level and the stud =
finder, they are on the shelf in the garage next to the paint cans. The box=
es from last week are all broken down and ready for pickup, so that should =
clear up a little floor space. We might have enough room to finally set up =
the folding table for the board game night. Let me know if Friday still wor=
ks. I was thinking we could try that new pasta place after, nothing fancy, =
just a quick bite. It has a good patio from what I saw. Anyway, see you lat=
er in the week. Thanks for handling the recycling bin too, I completely for=
got. Talk soon.
