Honestly I wasn't expecting that question at all this morning, but I think =
the best way to answer is just to walk through what happened step by step s=
ince you asked me to look into it. I had been meaning to get back to you si=
nce I got tied up with a few other errands around the middle of the week. Y=
ou know how it goes when a couple of little tasks stack up and then suddenl=
y the whole afternoon is gone before you realize it. Anyway I finally got a=
chance to sit down with the stack of notes I had gathered and I started co=
mparing them side by side with that older checklist we put together back in=
 the spring.

What I think happened is that the second packet of details was filed under =
a slightly different label than what we originally planned, so it never mad=
e it into the folder where we usually keep that kind of reference material.=
It took me a while to track it down because I was looking in the place tha=
t made sense based on how we grouped things before. Once I found it the act=
ual content was totally fine, nothing missing or out of order, it just wasn=
't where either of us expected it to be sitting.

I moved it into the correct spot and added a small sticky note on the front=
so it won't get misplaced again. The little blue divider tabs we used last=
time actually made it easy to sort the rest of the stack once I got going.=
I think the whole thing took maybe twenty minutes once I actually stopped =
looking in the wrong place and started from the top.

I saw your message come through while I was making a quick lunch and wanted=
to answer right away before I forget. The short version is yes, I did end =
up going over to the far side of the lot yesterday just to see what was hap=
pening with the new set of planters. I think they might have shifted the wh=
ole layout by a few feet compared to what we sketched on the back of that o=
ld receipt. It wasn't a huge difference, but it was enough that the little =
stone path doesn't line up the way we originally thought it would.

When I got closer I noticed the ground was still a bit uneven right around =
that corner spot, which might be why the third planter sits at a slight ang=
le no matter how many times someone tries to straighten it. I spent a few m=
inutes just watching how the afternoon light fell across that section and I=
think if we shift the whole grouping about two feet to the left it will ac=
tually look more balanced from the bench. The taller grasses will catch the=
early morning light and the lower ones will get the softer shade they need=
 later in the day.

Of course I'm not an expert by any stretch, but that was my initial thought=
after standing there for a bit. I didn't grab a photo because my phone was=
almost dead, but I can swing by again later this week if you want me to ta=
ke a few from different angles. I think seeing it in the morning versus lat=
e afternoon would help us decide before we move anything. Nothing was distu=
rbed or knocked over, so it's all still exactly where you left it.
