So I was looking at the calendar for next week and realized we have that co=
mmunity center potluck on Thursday evening. Are you planning to go? I remem=
ber you mentioned wanting to bring those lemon bars that your aunt used to =
make. I found a recipe in the back of my old binder that looks pretty close=
, it has the shortbread crust with the lemon custard layer. The trick seems=
to be letting them cool completely before cutting or they fall apart. I th=
ink I might just pick up some fruit and a vegetable tray from the market be=
cause honestly my baking skills are not where they need to be for that kind=
of presentation. But if you have time this weekend maybe we could do a tes=
t run at your place and compare notes. You have that big island counter whi=
ch makes rolling things out so much easier. My kitchen is so small I end up=
using the dining room table and everything gets covered in flour anyway. L=
et me know what you think and if you want me to grab any ingredients while =
I am out. I need to stop by the hardware store too because the garden hose =
has a small leak at the connection and I keep meaning to fix it before summ=
er really heats up.

the sampler if you are selected. Quantities are determined by program allo=
cation.

Inside Your Box

6 Top Sirloins

4 Ribeyes

Thanks for taking a moment to review this offer.

Hey did you ever finish that deck refinishing project from last fall? I rem=
ember you said the weather turned too cold and you had to cover everything =
with a tarp and wait. You were debating between the cedar tone stain and th=
e clear sealant. I think the cedar tone would give it a richer look especia=
lly with the furniture you have out there. My neighbor across the street ju=
st did his deck with a semi-transparent stain and it came out really nice. =
He said the key was sanding everything first even though it took a whole af=
ternoon. He used one of those pole sanders to save his knees. I can borrow =
that tool from him if you want to give it another try this weekend. The for=
ecast looks dry for Saturday and Sunday which might be perfect for two coat=
s with drying time in between. Let me know if you need an extra set of hand=
s. I could come over after lunch on Saturday. I will bring my work gloves a=
nd maybe some drinks. Also that pizza place near the hardware store has a g=
ood lunch special if we get hungry halfway through.
