Morning, so I was thinking about what you said regarding the community gard=
en project and I wanted to circle back. The plot assignments are still bein=
g sorted but I spoke with Margaret yesterday and she mentioned the soil tes=
ting results came back better than expected. Honestly, the drainage on the =
north side is not ideal but we can work around it with raised beds. I think=
if we stagger the planting schedule we can get the tomatoes in by the seco=
nd week of next month. My neighbor offered to donate some cedar planks from=
his shed project so that helps with the border framing. Also, the compost =
situation is finally under control because the city dropped off two extra b=
ins and the food scraps collection has been consistent. Let me know if you =
are still able to help with the irrigation layout because I know you had me=
ntioned having some experience with drip systems from your cousin's farm. I=
can bring the diagram sketches to coffee this weekend if that works. We sh=
ould also talk about the herb spiral because I think that corner near the t=
ool shed gets a lot more afternoon sun than we originally assumed. Anyway, =
I just wanted to share those updates before the next planning meeting.

cation.

Omaha Steaks =C2=B7 Gourmet Sampler Program

Right, so you asked about the changes to the kitchen workflow and here is w=
hat I am thinking. We should move the prep station closer to the pass becau=
se it saves about twelve steps per order during the rush. I timed it last F=
riday and the current setup adds nearly forty seconds to every ticket with =
more than two proteins. The cold line is fine but the salad greens keep wil=
ting because the ventilation from the hot side pushes across that corner. I=
suggested adding a small acrylic shield and Chef agreed it would help with=
out needing a full remodel. Also, the new supplier for the root vegetables =
has been solid so far, the carrots and parsnips came in much fresher than t=
he last place. I think we can keep them for the winter menu if the quality =
holds. Let me know if you want to walk through the layout before the next p=
rep meeting because I can bring the floor plan and a marker. I also need to=
check the inventory on the braising liquid because someone used the last b=
atch for the staff meal and did not mark the sheet. Not a huge issue but wo=
rth a note for the weekend team. Anyway, that is the main update from my si=
de.
