Hey, thanks for getting back to me about the weekend plans. I was thinking =
we could try that new pottery studio over on Maple Street if you are still =
interested.

They have a session on Saturday morning that starts around ten and runs for=
about two hours. I checked their website yesterday and it looks like they =
provide all the materials including the clay, the glazes, and the tools.

We would just need to bring an apron or wear clothes we do not mind getting=
a little dusty. Afterward we could grab lunch at that sandwich place next =
door that has the outdoor seating.

Let me know if Saturday works for you or if Sunday afternoon would be bette=
r. I am flexible either way. Also, I ran into Dana at the grocery store las=
t evening and she said she might want to join us if that is alright with yo=
u.

She has done a few pottery classes before so she could probably give us som=
e pointers. No pressure though, it would just be nice to catch up. Text me =
when you have a chance and we can finalize the details.

OMAHA STEAKS

So about the community garden plot you asked about, I stopped by the coordi=
nator's shed on Tuesday after work.

The plot on the south side near the mulberry tree is still open for this se=
ason. It gets good morning sun and some afternoon shade which works well fo=
r leafy greens, carrots, and herbs.

The soil was turned over last fall and they added a layer of compost a few =
weeks ago. You would need to bring your own trowel, gloves, and a watering =
can, but hoses are available near the main gate for everyone to use.

There is a small wooden bench nearby if you want to sit and plan out your r=
ows. I spoke with Marcus who runs the Saturday morning crew and he said he =
would be happy to help you set up a drip line if you wanted one.

The fee for the season is just enough to cover shared supplies and maintena=
nce, nothing more. I think you would really enjoy it. The last person who h=
ad that plot grew the most beautiful chard and bush beans.

If you are interested, let me know by Friday so I can tell the coordinator =
to hold the space for you. We could even meet there on Saturday around nine=
 before it gets too warm.
