So when you asked me to check the train schedule for the trip next month, I=
went ahead and looked into a few different departure times that would get =
us into the city before noon. There is a regional line that leaves at 7:40 =
and makes only two stops, which lands us right near the market district. Th=
e other option leaves a bit later at 8:55 but has a longer layover near the=
 junction station.

That second one gets us in around 11:30, so still fine for lunch. I think t=
he earlier train is better because we can drop our bags and walk the old qu=
arter before it gets busy. Let me know if that start time works for you and=
I can pick up both passes in the morning. Also, the blue line return on Su=
nday runs every couple of hours.

Marriot

A Guest Recognition Gesture From Our Hotels

Because your travel history includes a stay at a Marriot Hotel or a Marriot=
partner hotel within the past year, our team has set aside a two-piece lux=
ury cooling pillow set for your household.

View Pillows + 2 Night Stay

What to Know About This Pillow Set

Engineered fabric that moves heat away from the skin throughout the night.

Supportive core that keeps the neck and shoulders aligned during rest.

Breathable side panels that allow steady airflow and reduce moisture buildu=
p.

A plush yet responsive surface layer that adapts to your sleeping position.

Washable outer cover designed to stay fresh with simple care at home.

Balanced loft that provides comfort for back, side, and combination sleeper=
s.

After your pillow set shipment is arranged, a short questionnaire becomes a=
vailable. Once you complete those questions, our reservations desk can exte=
nd access to a two-night stay at select participating locations. Those two =
nights are provided at no charge to you as well. You will not be billed for=
the pillows or for the qualifying stay nights.

This gesture is limited to one pillow set per household. The current progra=
m allocation includes 800 pillow sets nationally. Stay dates and property a=
vailability depend on participating location scheduling and room inventory =
at the time the questionnaire is completed.

The program window closes tomorrow, so we encourage you to submit the short=
questionnaire before the end of the day.

Thank you for choosing Marriot for your previous stay. Your time and feedba=
ck are valued by our entire hospitality team.

On the question about which neighborhood we should pick for the spring get =
together, I looked at a few spots that have covered patios and decent parki=
ng nearby. The area over by the old post office has a row of cafes that can=
seat groups without needing a reservation.

There is also that courtyard place next to the bookshop, but their weekend =
hours are shorter and the seating fills up by noon. The third option near t=
he river walk has more room but requires a small deposit to hold a table fo=
r more than eight people. For our group size, the cafe row seems like the m=
ost practical choice. We can meet around 11:30, order lunch, and still have=
quiet space to talk for a couple of hours. If the weather shifts, they hav=
e indoor tables as a backup. Let me know what you think by tomorrow.
