I was thinking about that thing you asked me the other day and honestly I n=
ever really got a chance to sit down and give you a proper answer so here g=
oes. It took me a while to figure out what I actually wanted to say because=
there were a few different angles I could have taken and I kept going back=
and forth on which one made the most sense. You know how sometimes the sim=
plest explanation is the one that ends up being the right one and you only =
realize it after you have already overcomplicated everything. I ended up ta=
king a walk around the block a couple of times just to clear my head and by=
the time I got back to my desk it felt pretty obvious. What I landed on wa=
s basically this: sometimes you just have to trust the process and stop try=
ing to control every little detail because that is where the stress comes f=
rom in the first place. I know that sounds a little vague but honestly it i=
s the truth. The more I tried to plan it all out perfectly the more tangled=
it got. Once I let go a little bit and just went with what felt right in t=
he moment things started to fall into place on their own. Anyway I know you=
have been waiting for me to respond so I figured I would just write it all=
out here while j0xamL5mmC1egE it was fresh in my mind. Let me kno=
w if any of that resonates with you because I would genuinely like to hear =
your take on it too. I think we are probably on the same page more than we =
realize.

On a completely separate note I finally got around to reorganizing my desk =
and I found about six old notebooks that I had completely forgotten about. =
It was kind of wild flipping through them because there were so many half-f=
inished ideas and random sketches that I never did anything with. I probabl=
y spent a good hour just sitting there reading through everything and laugh=
ing at some of the stuff I thought was brilliant back then. Most of it was =
not great but every once in a while there was a little spark of something t=
hat actually still held up. I ended up setting a few of those pages aside t=
o revisit later this week if I have time.

The weather over here has been pretty decent lately which is a nice change =
from how things were a couple weeks ago. I have been trying to get outside =
more during the day instead of staying cooped up at my desk the whole time.=
Even just twenty minutes of fresh air makes a huge difference in how I fee=
l about the rest of the day. I know you were talking about wanting to switc=
h up your routine a bit and I honestly think something as small as stepping=
 outside at lunch could help.

So I went to the park this afternoon and there was this guy flying a kite t=
hat had to be at least six feet wide. It was one of those big dragon kites =
with the long tail and all these bright colors and honestly it was pretty i=
mpressive to watch. The wind was strong enough that he was actually having =
to lean back a little just to keep his footing. There was a decent crowd of=
people just standing around watching it go up and down and every time the =
kite dipped down close to the trees everyone would gasp a little. I stood t=
here for probably ten minutes just kind of enjoying the moment. It is rare =
that I stop and just watch something like that without pulling out my phone=
to take a picture or check a message. It felt like a tiny little reset for=
my brain honestly. You know how sometimes you do not realize how much you =
needed a pause until you actually take one and then it feels almost too obv=
ious. I think I might make more of an effort to do that kind of thing more =
regularly. Maybe not watching kites every day but just finding small moment=
s where I am not plugged into anything and I can just observe what is aroun=
d me. I think it would probably do me a lot of good in the long run and hon=
estly it probably would not hurt you either. Let me know if you have been d=
oing anything like that lately or if you have a good spot you like to go wh=
en you want to unplug for a bit.

I also tried that new coffee place down the street the other day and I have=
to say I was a little underwhelmed given how much everyone has been talkin=
g about it. The space itself is really nice and the staff were super friend=
ly but the actual coffee was kind of average. Maybe I went on an off day or=
maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I was expecting something a little mor=
e interesting. I might give it one more shot before I make up my mind compl=
etely. Have you been there yet? I am curious what you thought if you have.

This weekend I am planning to get a bunch of little chores out of the way e=
arly so I can have the rest of the time to just relax. I have been putting =
off cleaning out my closet for weeks and it is getting to the point where I=
cannot find anything anymore. I figure if I knock it out first thing in th=
e morning I can spend the afternoon doing something fun instead. There is a=
new book I have been wanting to start and I think that might be the perfec=
t way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. What about you anything planned for=
the weekend or are you keeping it open?

off cleaning out my closet for weeks and it is getting to the point where I=
cannot find anything anymore.
