Hey there - I was actually just thinking about what you asked earlier and w=
anted to get back to you properly. The weekend was a bit of a blur, mostly =
spent trying to figure out a weirdly complicated recipe and then giving up =
halfway through. We ended up with a kitchen full of bowls and nothing to sh=
ow for it.

Anyway, that side project you mentioned has been on my mind. I think the ke=
y is to keep the first version really straightforward, like almost embarras=
singly basic. That way when things inevitably break, you can actually tell =
what's going on without sifting through a mountain of extra layers.

I've also been trying to get outside a little more in the mornings, even if=
it's just a short loop around the block before the day ramps up. It helps =
clear my head more than I expected. I know you've been into that early rout=
ine too.

Oh, and I found a podcast about obscure design failures that I think you'd =
genuinely enjoy. It's dry in the best way, and some of the stories are so s=
trange they feel made up. Let me know if you want the title and I'll dig it=
 up. ZRQvGF44lJYkIMF

No rush to reply - I know things have been busy. I'm just glad we got to ca=
tch up, even if it took me a while to write this out. Talk soon.

This notice is specific to the account identified above and reflects points=
 as of today.

I keep thinking about how hard it is to just sit still and let an idea deve=
lop without poking at it constantly. There's something valuable in that unc=
omfortable waiting period, even though I'm terrible at it.

Earlier today I spent way too long trying to organize a shelf that honestly=
didn't need organizing. It started as a five-minute thing and somehow turn=
ed into an hour of taking everything down and putting it all back in almost=
 the same order. Classic.

I also had a surprisingly good conversation about how everyone has their ow=
n internal logic for deciding what's worth keeping and what isn't. Some peo=
ple really do hold on to things for years just because the object has a sto=
ry attached. Others can part with anything at any time and never look back.

Let me know what you ended up deciding about that little trip you mentioned=
. I keep going back and forth on whether the off-season timing would actual=
ly be better or if it just sounds romantic in theory. Might be worth it eit=
her way just to see something different for a couple of days.

Anyway, I should wrap this up before I ramble any further. Just wanted to s=
end something real instead of another one-liner. Hope your week starts off =
on a calm note.
