Thanks for reaching out about the patio project. Honestly we were not expecting to hear back from the stone supplier so quickly. The yard is still a bit of a mess after the storm came through last Tuesday and knocked over the trellis, but the ground underneath is fine. We talked with a neighbor about borrowing their power washer before we start laying the base layer. That should save us a good chunk of time. My brother in law thinks we should level the far corner near the fence because it slopes more than we realized. He said we can use some of the leftover gravel from the side path and pack it down in stages. It might take an extra afternoon but it will keep water from pooling near the shed. We are aiming to start Saturday morning if the weather holds. I will text you the list of pavers and sand we already have so we do not double buy anything. We can figure out the layout once we see them on the ground. No need to bring tools, we have plenty of extra gloves and kneepads.

OMAHA STEAKS

Hand-selected cuts, prepared with care

A gourmet sampler, set aside for you

Omaha Steaks is preparing 500 gourmet boxes for a select group of recipients. Each box is normally priced over $600 and is being made available to you at no charge. One sampler is reserved per household, and that sampler is covered by the program for this offer. The program ends Tomorrow.

The sampler reflects the care we put into every cut. Each piece is selected by hand and flash-frozen to preserve flavor, texture, and consistency from our kitchen to yours.

Review the contents below to see exactly what is being reserved for you. There is nothing to add to your cart and you will not be billed for the sampler.

Inside Your Box

4 Top Sirloins

4 New York Strips

4 Filet Mignons

4 Ribeyes

Quantities are determined by program allocation and are limited to the published total.

Thank you for taking a moment to review this offer. We hope the sampler brings something special to your table.

Alright so the plan for the community garden is coming together. We are going to meet near the tool shed around nine on Saturday. I was thinking we can split into two teams: one to clear the overgrown beds along the back fence and another to rebuild the raised boxes near the compost bins. We have enough cedar boards from the donation in March, plus a few extra bags of soil conditioner in the storage locker. Can you grab the wheelbarrow from your place on the way? Mine has a flat tire and the patch kit is missing. We also need to label the rows for the kale and the tomatoes because last year nobody remembered what went where. I printed a few wooden stakes and a permanent marker is in the supply bin next to the watering cans. If you know anyone with spare tomato cages, bring them along. We lost about six during the windstorm. After we finish, a few of us might grab something to eat at the diner on Vine. You in?
